Dirt on the hands
Every single thing that we do are like dirt on our hands. It may not show, but it's there. At the end of the day, when the hands are washed and dried up, was getting our hands dirty worth the while? or were they just stains that needed to be washed out as soon as possible and be forgotten?

what would you watch between 24 and Puteri?
I've always been a big fan of TV series. CSI, 24, Lost and Prison Break are my faves atm with a few others I watch on and off. I guess it's pretty much agreed upon that TV series be it from the US, Korea or Japan pretty much reflects the country of origin's cultures, social interactions and so and so forth. This however makes me ponder... what do people see when they watch Malaysian TV series or movies?

I suppose it's pretty unfair of me to just label Malaysian drama and cinema industry as crappy, but to tell you the truth, there is no other word for me to use and do it justice. Based upon what I said in the paragraph above, from the dramas, people would think that most Malaysian girls are "gedik" semacam while the guys are extremely "poyo". The portrayals of these dramas are so bad, pretty much nothing at all reflects how Malaysian are in real life. Be it the way normal people talk or our actions. The plot lines are so unbelievable that I could space out just thinking about them. That's why I prefer watching Indonesian films rather than going to a Malaysian one. At least when they act it doesn't look like acting. Or were the Malaysian actors acting as actors who suck and I just missed that part? Support the local film industry? uh.... give me a few years and if some better actors, directors and scriptwriters pop up then I just might, it's looking pretty bleak though.

So true this. I know people who actually imitate the shows like puteri and what was it aimi watched the other day... Isn't it supposed to be the other way round? Like you said movies and series portray scenes from the society... It could be exaggerated like 24 but it'd still be valid and possible.
