Dirt on the hands
Every single thing that we do are like dirt on our hands. It may not show, but it's there. At the end of the day, when the hands are washed and dried up, was getting our hands dirty worth the while? or were they just stains that needed to be washed out as soon as possible and be forgotten?

First pay!
Well, I got my first pay already... well, half of a first pay actually since they wanted to give some before Raya. Now I can go buy some baju Raya :D well... truth of the matter is I have to buy working clothes and shoes... guess they can double up as Raya clothing as well kekek.

Work has been ok so far I suppose. I went from having to wake up at 7am to 7.45am now since I shortcut to work that takes me 45mins instead of the usual 1+ hour :P Hope I can relax a bit on the going to work and coming back part once I found a nearby place to sleep. Still not much in terms of doing work. I get the occasional laptop to install, the occasional calls to vendor to service printers and uhh... that's pretty much it.

Last week, a friend of mine sent me an sms saying "thanks for the card raya, I usually get only e-cards so it's a surprise etc etc etc" and I replied "dude, I never send out raya cards. you must be mistaken lor". Then yesterday I got another sms from a friend saying thanks for sending in a card raya... I was beginning to think that someone must have stolen my address book and was sending raya cards to all my friends! Turns out that my mom found a couple of card raya that I wrote last year but never got around to posting and she posted them for me :P

First day of work
So, yesterday was my first day of work as a field service eng. Not the kind of work I was looking for but it's a start at least. It's like what my friend said, when you start working, prepare to at change jobs at least 3 times before you settle :P

I'm setingganing with a few of my buds at SS1 atm, which is a bloody long trip to commute to Tropicana everyday. Anyways, I went out at 7.30am, thinking that I'd have more than enough time to get there in one and a half hours... turns out I arrived 15 mins late at 9.15am. It takes less time to get back to Malacca on a normal day.

Around 10.30ish, my supervisor gave me a parking pass to the season pass area and told me to move my car since the parking lot below the building is crazy expensive at 2 bucks an hour. So as I was roving around the parking area for space I noticed on the right side there was a large ditch with no railing or anything similar to mark it and thinking that's just bloody damn dangerous when suddenly I got a sudden jolt.... turns out that the ditch goes all the way to the left side with a small path in the middle and my left tire had fallen into it. So off I go looking for some pak guards to help with lifting my car out of the ditch.

The rest of the day was pretty uneventful. Spent the whole day playing YM and bugging ppl or browsing forums and stuff. I had nothing to do, literally nothing at all. I even managed to doze off at my desk for an hour or something. A big pounding headache that I developed sometime in the afternoon didnt help much also. If I had a portable hardisk I could download crap all day long on this insanely fast connection... that's a good idea.

Got outta work at 6, drove back for 45 mins, break fast then went to sleep without eating since my head was killing me, ate my meal at 10.30 and went back to sleep. GG, off to a good start it seems.
