Dirt on the hands
Every single thing that we do are like dirt on our hands. It may not show, but it's there. At the end of the day, when the hands are washed and dried up, was getting our hands dirty worth the while? or were they just stains that needed to be washed out as soon as possible and be forgotten?

Release!
It's a week that good stuff came out! 24 premieres this week with a whopping 4 episode release and world of warcraft's expansion came out also. Both on the same day. Too bad the internet still sucks too much for me to play any WoW tho.

24 is pretty daym good as always, skip this paragraph if yah don't want any spoilers. Although I'm usually a critical when it comes to unbelievable stuff in shows, sometimes you just have to disbelieve to enjoy good things ya know. 24 is a series where no one needs to go to the toilet(unless there's a plot involving it) nor eat or sleep for 24 hours. Notice also that where Jack or Curtis or some other CTU guy would lead the assault on a place, they would almost always never wear protection helmets or gear wherelse the other assault guys always go in full gear and let the CTU guys go take lead with their impenetratable skins. The grunts are always the ones to die though. One running joke between me and Slam is, each season of 24, the grunts would always die, none of them ever make it to the end of the season. This new season has a hottie too, daym Nadia is hawt. There hasn't been a hottie in the show since Kimberly fell outta the story line huhu. They put in Wayne Palmer as sorta less incompetent than his brother so far. Prolly coz he just got elected a couple months back and still unsure of himself. Who can ever take the place of David Palmer anyways. If the guy is a real President of the US, he'd be the best that ever took that position. There is the part whereby Wayne negotiated with terrorist when the US has a policy of no negotiation with terrorists. Seeing that the script writers prolly know about this fact and its not something overlooked, it's prolly just to emphasize about the desperateness that Wayne is feeling as a President to go that far. Well, one thing we can be sure of is that Jack will save the US of A for the 6th time this year, and if you follow the timeline of the story he should be about 50 now. Too bad Curtis had to take the fall. He was never a replacement for Tony, but at least the guy wasn't all that bad.

Anyways, I actually slept at 9pm last 2 nights just so that I could wakt up at 5am and watch 24 efore going to work. Talk about an addict eh. Prolly can go back to my normal schedule tonite, that is until the new 24 episode releases next week hohoho.

I'm getting more bored at work with each passing week. Day before yesterday a user who was a motorola contractor came in to get his laptop's hardisk replaced. Man, it's much easier to deal with people who have no computer literacy at all than someone with some literacy. The bloke was damn annoying. Once when I was setting up his account on the new hardisk, he was asking me to put back the old hardisk which has died btw, into the laptop and see if it works if i plug it back in. The guy acts like the thing is a CD or something where I can plug it in anytime I want while at the same time setting up his account. I actually almost raised my voice while saying "wait la, I'm doing this atm!". Take it one step a time lar, aiyo. Then the next day he called me asking me to set up his "msconfig". I told him to do it himself la. He said he cannot coz I didn't give him the admin account (motorola image installs have a default admin account which I never change). I told him the account I made him can do it. He told me I only gave him user account not admin account (repeating stuff to me doesn't actually make it correct btw, just annoys me further). I told him the account already has admin rights. Then he said again that how come, that's not the admin account. By this time I was speaking slowly like talking to a stupid person, which I think he sorta is. I asked him, has he tried doing the msconfig yet. Then he told me to hold on while he starts the laptop and check... Good thing he was on the other side of the phone. People are only stupid when they think they know something when they actually have no clue. Smart people who know nothing actually knows they know nothing and don't act like they do.

On a bright side. I'm so bored that I now download movies at work and watch em there. Full movies, non of those streaming crap btw. Ah, nothing like some The Queen and Thank You For Smoking while wasting the day away.

Rear view
You know what I'd like to see? Video displays on the dashboard that shows a 120 degree view from the rear side of the car. Would eliminate blind spots as well as the need for a rear view mirror and side mirrors. With the technology we have now tho, to implement something showing real time display with a wide viewing angle like that would take a bit of moolah. It would be a nice thing to have tho. A lot of accidents happen coz people neglect to look to the sides to check their blind spots before changing lanes. Even with the loads of cash it would take, having a gadget like this is worth it.

I've sorta hit a new low on boredom. I've resorted to downloading abandonware of games that are 10 years and older to play at work. Some games that I want to download are almost as old as I am. King's Quest 1 anyone? There's only so much boredom one can take at work.
